Optional: Glass vase 3.5" x 3.5" x 4" (9cm x 9cm x 10cm) or use your own square vase with similar dimensions (Recommendation: Casa di Vetro Large Square Straight Sided Glass Vase).
Moss & Bark is not included
Follow the included short video tutorial to assemble your fairy house step by step. Once the base is complete, you can seal it to make it outdoor-friendly, paint or color it to suit your style, and decorate it with moss, bark, shingles, and more.
For weatherproofing, we recommend using Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Spray Paint in Clear Gloss (312g). Apply a few thin, even layers, allowing each coat to dry fully before adding the next. This will protect your fairy house from the elements and keep it looking magical in your garden or patio.

I've been following via Instagram and enjoying the magical moments being created. I ordered the miniature home, and once received, I went about creating it. I didn't have any moss or any organic items in my home that would work. I had recently started using acrylic markers and decided to try it on the roof. I color/painted all the sides with the brownish tone. I found my triangle ruler set and decided to use the small inner oval to create the shingles. I also used color/painted using the markers on the windows and door. To finish off the sides I created simple "shingle" areas and then also added grass and vines over the door. This is such a great addition to the other fairy items I've been collecting. This miniature home makes me smile every time I see it!
This is the cutest little house! Everything in the kit is great quality and arrived in perfect condition. I have made several purchases from here and I have loved every one of them. I am so happy I found Maryinthefairyland!!! I can't wait until Spring to start on my little village.
